Carrying too much cash is not a safe habit

Having a checking account is convenient when it comes to paying bills. Unfortunately, many people do not think so. They would rather pay by cash. ATMs being readily available anytime of the day and night, could be a factor that renders a checking account less important. No matter, I still believe that having a checking account still beats having excessive cash with you which could put you at a security risk.
