Buy items cheap at a garage sale

Garage sales are a great place to buy items at much reduced prices. Sometimes, you can find some nice designer furniture or an odd pretty item. Repatriating expats normally prefer to offload their stuff rather than shipping them home. They'd rather turn items like settees, washing machines, ovens, fridges, treadmills, exercise bikes, crockery and cutlery into cash with which they can buy new ones back home.
