According to Malaysia Nanban, at least 52,000 people are suffering from stroke-related ailments every year. The Healthy Ministry has also confirmed that 25% of Malaysians are obese while 33% have high or low blood pressure and many others are afflicted with diabetes or high cholesterol.
Poor eating habits, smoking, excessive alcohol intake and drug-taking have been the main reasons for the bad health. It is imperative that children should start young to learn the importance of eating natural food and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. This would include staying away from junk food and eating more fruits and vegetables.
