The housing design trend here in Malaysia seems to lean towards tall columns especially in the external facade. While driving around the outskirts of the city, I was pleasantly surprised to see many houses with this trend. I must say columns do spruce up a home. These days, columns of plaster have been replaced by fiberglass columns.
Fiberglass columns are lightweight and require very little maintenance. Used for both commercial and residential projects, fiberglass columns are ideal for indoor and outdoor applications because all parts are non-porous, waterproof, and impervious to insect infestation.
