Accidents can happen anytime and anywhere, be it at home or in the workplace. Some accidents or mishaps can be avoided and should be prevented by following some basic rules, such as the use of gloves at the very minimum in the home environment when handling chemicals. In the workplace, protective gear would include face-mask and eye-wear in addition to gloves.
For your own and your co-workers' safety at the workplace, it is imperative to use protective gear as required. It is also important to know where other safety equipment is kept or located just in case you may need any when the occasion arises. Remember, safety first and better to be safe than sorry.
