Every part of our body is important to the total wellbeing of our health. Take for instance, the liver. It is imperative that we take the required steps to maintain the condition of our liver so it does not get damaged.

According to studies, following are some of the main causes of liver damage:

1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late
2. Not urinating in the morning
3. Excessive eating
4. Skipping breakfast. Yes, breakfast is important.
5. Consuming too much medication
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweeteners
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. It is advisable to reduce oil in cooking as even the best oils can be damaging to health.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.
