Even though shopping malls and department stores are still crowded in the evenings and weekends, there is no denying that the economic downturn has somewhat made shoppers more careful about spending their hard-earned money or their reduced income.More families are spending more time at parks and playgrounds. Local councils have even set up skaetboard ramps providing an added facility for children to expense their energy or to pick up a new sport. Skateboarding is certainly not for the faint-hearted but for those who dare, it can be a fulfilling sport. Great exercise too.
