Moving house or relocating is always such a hassle no matter how far or near you may be moving to. No wonder psychologists attribute moving as one of a person's stress factors.
Over here, most people move house by themselves as opposed to engaging a mover. We would just pack everything up and hire a lorry or truck to move the boxes to the new house. I think for a long distance move, it would be more advisable to engage long distance movers to do the work. If you are thinking about costs, hiring some of these outfits need not be costly as some of them are green companies and they pass down their savings to their clients.
