A friend, Cate, and her family just moved into their new home in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. Not only that, the neighbouring hills make the place so cooling, actually to the point of being quite cold in the mornings, according to Cate, and which is not too good for her five-year-old daughter who is suffering from asthma.
To solve the problem of the cold as well as to spruce up their home, Cate invested in some very lovely area rugs.
I went to her house-warming party the other day and could not help noticing that the rugs truly made a difference to the interior of the house. They added pizazz and warmth at the same time. Some wise choices, I must say.
