On a personal level, we talk about personal health and well-being of a person. What about on a corporate level? How do we measure the health of a company not including the P&L part of it?
On the corporate level, a company's human resources play a major role in corporate well-being. Human nature is very sensitive, could even be very demanding at times. Maslow made it known to us that we have different needs as we go through life. One of them is recognition which brings us back to human resources in a company.
Good companies have a way of retaining their good people, their assets. Besides a good remuneration package, they place high value on recognition. They make sure good deeds do not go unnoticed. What do they do? They give credit where it is due and one of the ways is cleverly employing the use of a digital signage to highlight achievements. Happy, recognised employees make for a successful company.
