London Directory
There's this directory I found recently, LondonAdvertisingDirectory, which I am sure would be useful for people in and around London. Even though they have been around for just a few months, they sure do have a good list of goods and services. Navigation is easy as they have the companies properly categorized into New Links, Top Links, Popular Links, and Random Links. Or do a Search for the goods or service you are looking for. You can also narrow down the search by going to Advanced Search. With a total number of 58 categories, you will surely find what you are looking for.

When the Elderly should Stop Driving
Do you have a family member who is too old to drive but won't give it up? When you begin to notice the inevitable signs that an elderly loved one should no longer drive, Helpguide.org from Rotary International offers these suggestions on how to discuss this sensitive issue:
1. Tell the person that you are concerned for his or her safety, as well as the safety of others.
2. Mention other transportation options, so the person doesn't feel trapped at home.
3. Talk about how much money can be saved in gas and maintenance by no longer driving.
4. Offer to take the person to regular appointments, the grocery store, and other errands.

Heartburn
Heartburn often starts as a feeling of burning, warmth, heat, or pain in the upper abdomen. It may spread in waves upward into your throat.
Almost everyone will have troubles with heartburn now and then. It is important to know the basics so that one is better informed and prepared.
Symptoms of heartburn and symptoms of a heart attack may feel the same. Occasionally, a person may dismiss serious symptoms as "just gas or indigestion." However, if you have a history of heart problems your heartburn symptoms may indicate a more serious problem and need to be checked by your doctor.

Cruising tips
Each year millions of people enjoy cruise vacations. Traveling on cruise ships exposes people to new environments and high volumes of people, including other travelers and this exposure creates the risk for illness, either from contaminated food, water or more commonly through person to person contact. How do you protect yourself from illness during your cruise vacation?
The CDC (U.S.) provides these tips to help prevent the spread of illness:
1.
Wash your hands!
- Before and after eating, smoking,
- After touching your face, going to the bathroom
When your hands are dirty.
Learn more about handwashing techniques.
2.
Leave the area if you see someone get sick (vomiting or diarrhea).
Report to cruise staff, if not already notified.
You could become sick if you ingest contaminated particles that travel through the air.
3.
Take care of yourself.
Get plenty of rest, drink lots of water. Resting helps rebuild your immune system. Drinking water helps prevents dehydration.
4.
Be considerate of other people’s health.
If you’re ill before taking a cruise, call the cruise line to determine if there are alternative cruising options.
